Riggs & Forsythe DRY COLA – “Naturally Flavored”

October 10, 2003

Riggs & Forsythe markets itself as “the first truly adult soft drink” -
though I don’t know if they have done enough historical research to back a claim such as that. At the advent of cola, Civil War vets lined up – mostly adults.

The 330ml. bottle is “distinctive” enough, and the range of flavors which they offer is certainly appealing to my adult palette.
That’s why I purchased the Dry Cola.
Sounds good!
DRY COLA!

A somewhat sour flavor with decent carbonation.
…So it was distinct.
And boring.
And decaffeinated at that.
“Adults” don’t drink beverages with caffeine?
WTF?

Those are real kola nuts there next to the bottle, though.
