Libby’s Pineapple & Coconut Nectar – “From Concentrate”

This particular Libby’s product comes from Lebanon, but it hardly matters since Libby’s is owned by Nestlé.

I usually go in for pineapple/coconut juice, especially the thick and creamy kind (no weird dairy, please).
This one, however, made me feel a little bit ill. Have you ever noticed how often expiration dates are reasonably unintelligible? For example, here’s what the cap of my drink said:
“16:P:01:06:04 / 05:E:01:06:05H”
I’m going to hope that means “Good until the 1st of June, 2005”.
Who knows?

The humorous side to international mega-corporations:
The label has the requisite recycling logo, and next to it,
“KEEP YOUR COUNTRY CLEAN”.
