7UP Bite – “ΝΕΟ!”

My friends wanted to show me around Athens… so we went to this, erm, ultra-hip afterhours club. Greeks appreciate irony, I think. Better than Latins anyway. If I ever did know the name of this absurdly generic club, I don’t remember it now. I had several [unknown brand, unremarkable] scotches there. And stood idly.

Weary of all that elbow-rubbing and urban hot-spotting, I booked a boat out to the Saronics that very same morning, near dawn.
Not much was open down at the port, and still dehydrated from standing around all nightthe club, I picked up a soda at the kiosks on the Piraeus docks. This 7UP BITE.

Have you ever had one of those Mexican lemon/lime sachets that you dissolve in water? They’re pretty sour.
7UP Bite tastes like that, but with carbonation. Not bad, really. I bought a second one for the trip…
