Wawa Dark Roast – “We are coffee”

April 13, 2008
tags:

Oh, Wawa. You mean so much less to me than you probably should – since you are coffee and all.
You don’t mind if I use your drip grind to make espresso do you? No?

You don’t mind if I take ^your picture without asking, do you? Okay.
Because you’re wearing antlers on your head.

This was a good call. I’d say anyone wearing antlers on their head is asking to have their picture taken and posted on the Internets.

just don’t get nem hoagies toasted!

What? And disturb the local fauna? I wouldn’t dare.
Anyway – I can’t sufficiently mimic the vowels necessary to order a toasted hoagie.

Wawa is one of the best things to happen to the Delaware Valley. I grew up on the raspberry iced tea (I bet you would think it was the most disgusting drink ever created).

Do they still carry the stuff?

I’ll be happy to try it, but remember – the most disgusting drink ever created was already covered HERE.

          • April 14, 2008 16:51

Of course they still carry it. My friends enjoyed doing gallon challenges with raspberry iced tea (and also egg nog when it was in season).

Please tell me it comes in a smaller format as well?

              • April 14, 2008 17:38

Half-gallons. Maybe 16 / 12 oz also? They would usually vomit by the half-gallon mark anyway.

Well, that’s a productive game isn’t it? Hoho.

                  • April 14, 2008 18:03

I should point out that I never participated in this game

There’s not that much to do in suburban / rural New Jersey.

where were you at a wawa? i hadn’t heard of these abominations until moving to philly, and i hope to never hear of them again when i leave. nothing wrong with novelty antlers, though.

    • April 14, 2008 17:37

      Abominations?

    • April 14, 2008 17:37

Caution! You say stuff like that in public and they’ll find you – the Wawa cult. See above.

Generally, I like the place. It’s certainly the lesser of the regional mini-mart evils, and that carries some vague political weight with me.

This particular store is in beautiful Upper Darby.
